Adult-bookstore owner accepts suspension
PULASKI, Pa. -- The owner of an adult bookstore has agreed to accept a 30-day license suspension after a hearing Wednesday before the Pulaski Township supervisors.
Township Secretary Lori Sniezek said Eric Boron, owner of Adultland XXX on U.S. Route 422, agreed after a 10-minute hearing to withdraw his appeal of the suspension and not pursue any other appeals if the township would allow the suspension to begin Jan. 2.
The agreement was accepted unanimously by Supervisors Lewis Grell, Tom Gates and Daniel Abramson.
Police Chief Jim Morris had ordered Boron's business license suspended for 30 days because Boron violated a township ordinance by remaining open Oct. 14, which was Columbus Day.
The ordinance states the bookstore must close on legal holidays. Sniezek said about 20 people attended the hearing.
