Theft: A woman in the 100 block of Bentley Avenue reported her cellular phone stolen from her van.
Possible theft: A worker at Francesco Pizzeria, 617 W. Liberty St., told officers she confronted a man inside her truck. It was undetermined if anything was missing.
Criminal mischief: A woman awoke at her residence in the 1000 block of Doris Drive and saw that someone had placed furniture in her front yard.

Criminal mischief: A man discovered his car was broken into while he was in the 900 block of North Main Street.

Theft: A woman in the 500 block of West Liberty Street reported the theft of her wallet while at Patton's IGA Super Center, 880 W. Liberty St.
Counterfeit: An employee at Rite Aid Pharmacy, 147 W. Liberty St., told police someone in the drive-through tried to pass a bogus script for a prescription.
Criminal damaging: A woman in the 900 block of Saul Drive reported a window had been shot with a BB gun.

Theft: A man discovered the theft of tires from his mother's car while he was at Frank's Shoe Repair, 512 N. Main St.

Criminal damaging: A man called police after seeing that someone damaged several signs near the end of Lucretia Drive.
Domestic violence: A 21-year-old Frederick Street man was arrested at his apartment on a domestic-violence charge. The suspect's girlfriend alleged he struck her twice. The man said she had thrown a cigarette and a lighter at him.
Breaking and entering: A man in the 1500 block of Millicent Drive reported that someone had entered his garage and stole a CD player and an audio speaker.
Theft: A woman in the 30 block of Trumbull Court reported $25 missing from her car.
Theft: A 39-year-old Warren man pumped $37.22 worth of gasoline and left a Shell True North station, 3990 Belmont Ave., without paying.

Criminal damaging: A man in the 1000 block of Park Circle reported someone cut a cable line that provided power to a camera and a light. Estimated damage was $500.
Criminal damaging/menacing: A James Lane woman said another woman caused $150 worth of damage to a tire rim on her car, and threatened the victim.
Theft: A man in the 400 block of Arbor Circle discovered his car's window broken and dashboard damaged, and that a $125 AM-FM/compact-disc player was taken.
Arrests: After stopping a vehicle bearing stolen license plates, officers arrested Youngstown man, 39, and an Alliance girl, 17, into custody at Punky's Pit Stop, 6670 Belmont Ave. The man was charged with receiving stolen property (license plates), a felony; the girl faced a charge of having no operator's license.
Breaking and entering: Someone used a rock to break the front-door window at Hair Connection, 3035 Belmont Ave. Stolen were 250 wigs, 25 men's wristwatch sets and 50 hair extensions, resulting in a loss of $7,186.
Theft: A man in the 3400 block of Hadley Road reported a stereo/CD player missing from his car.

Theft: A man in the 300 block of Trumbull Avenue reported someone broke his vehicle's rear passenger-side vent window and removed a cellular phone and a rearview mirror.
Domestic violence: Police arrested a man, 69, at his Fifth Avenue residence on three counts of domestic violence after a woman alleged he pushed her to the ground twice during an argument and two other people said he became violent toward them when they tried to intervene. The victim appeared to have a broken finger, police said.
Breaking and entering: Someone tossed a piece of concrete through a glass door at Lyrica Fashion, 3229 Belmont Ave., and took five coats and two outfits. The loss came to about $770.

Breaking and entering: Police arrived at Cleveland Auto Wrecking Co. Inc., 2700 Youngstown-Hubbard Road, and found a garage door open and a window broken. Nothing appeared to be missing, however.
Criminal damaging: A woman told police a 49-year-old man damaged a cordless phone at her residence in the 2900 block of Northview Boulevard.
Bad check: An employee at Pizza Hut, 3403 Belmont Ave., reported getting a $34 personal check written on a closed account.
Domestic violence: Police arrested a man, 49, at his Northview Boulevard residence on a domestic violence charge after a woman alleged he assaulted her. She complained of head pain.
Arrest: Police arrested a 19-year-old Youngstown man in the 2900 block of Northview Boulevard. He was wanted on a warrant charging him with failure to appear on charges of burglary, criminal trespass and drug abuse.
Theft: A worker at Dental Products and Service Inc., 1601 Motor Inn Drive, reported a cellular phone and change stolen from a vehicle.
