XQUEENSTOWN, Md. -- George Michael Yurcic Jr. and his bride, the former Holly Nicole Whittington, honeymooned at Bora Bora and LaTaha & aacute; after their Oct. 1 wedding at St. Christopher Church.
The Rev. Paul Jennings presided at the 3 p.m. ceremony, and the couple were honored during a reception at Hunters Oak Golf and Country Club. They live at 7025 Running Fox Court in Florence, Ky.
Parents of the bride are Tempie Whittington, 4182 Log Teal Drive, Waldorf, Md., and Larry and Cynthia Whittington, 13218 Coralberry Drive, Fairfax, Va., and the groom's parents are George and Theresa Yurcic, 8260 Van Drive, Poland.
The bride's strapless ivory gown was enhanced with silver and crystal beading on the bodice and chapel train.
Heather Curley was her sister's honor attendant, and bridesmaids were another sister, Blair Whittington; Christa Kiattl; Diane Deskins; Brandi Biase; and Laurie Taylor. They wore claret-colored gowns.
Michael Yurcic performed the duties of best man for his brother, and groomsmen were Tim Ashurst, Dave Torres, Chris Durham and John Banta.
Mrs. Yurcic is a flight attendant with Independence Air at Dulles, Va.
Mr. Yurcic, an Airbus 319 first officer with Independence Air, graduated from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Fla., with a degree in aeronautical science.
