West Middlesex is 18-7 winner over Iroquois



ERIE, Pa. -- The stage is set for a rematch between West Middlesex and Kennedy Catholic High School's playoff game next weekend.
Quarterback Kolten Hoffman scored a touchdown and passed for another in leading the Big Red (7-3) past Iroquois 18-7 Saturday in a District 10 quarterfinal.
Hoffman, who rushed for 45 yards on 14 carries, put the Big Red ahead when he scored on a 6-yard run in the second quarter.
Todd Miller caught a 48-yard TD strike from Hoffman, who was 4-of-9 for 158 yards, that gave West Middlesex a 12-0 lead early in the third period.
The Braves (7-3) got their only TD late in the quarter.
Miller returned a fumble 10 yards for the game's final score in the final period.
The Braves, in completing their season, had 76 rushing and 83 passing yards.
Kennedy Catholic defeated West Middlesex 35-21 in week four of the regular season.
