Man in stable condition after being stabbed

YOUNGSTOWN -- A 36-year-old Plazaview Court resident was in stable condition Saturday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center after being stabbed.
He was found lying on a lawn at about 11:30 p.m. Friday in the 700 block of Cassius Avenue after someone from the neighborhood called police.
Police spoke to the victim's wife, who said her husband had been in an altercation earlier in the evening. Police also found a bloody bat and knife at the Plazaview apartment building, where the stabbing reportedly had taken place.
