Homeowners report theft of guns, money

YOUNGSTOWN -- Twelve to 14 guns were taken from a home in the 700 block of West Warren Avenue, where police were called about suspicious activity about 1:30 a.m. Saturday.
Police observed that a garage door and window in the house were open. After a search, police found rooms on the first and second floors ransacked.
When the homeowners returned, they told police that guns had been taken from a gun locker and a cash box with an undetermined amount of money missing. The homeowners told police they had left the residence because it was being fumigated.
