Historical society schedules Christmas Tour of Homes
Six homes and Little Red Schoolhouse will be open to visitors.
POLAND -- A two-day Christmas Tour of Homes has been scheduled by Poland Township Historical Society. The public is invited to participate in the event from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Dec. 6 and 7.
Featured on the tour will be six homes in a variety of styles that run the gamut from historical to modern to remodeled.
Included on the tour will be The Little Red Schoolhouse where there will be displays of historical artifacts from the estate of Clingan Jackson and demonstrations of glass art conducted by Windows and Door Art Glass Specialties and Gift Shop.
Residents opening their homes to the public during the tour are: Dr. and Mrs. Jeff Logan, 2087 Lyon Blvd.; Peggy Jacubec, 2152 Lyon Blvd.; John and Laurie LaPlante, 19 Elm St.; Robert and Janice Elias, 143 College St.; Tom and Valerie Carter, 6857 Boardwalk; and Bill and Rochelle Penman, 8043 Eastbrooke.
