DD4Hire donates office for MADD

DD4Hire provides designated drivers for a variety of purposes.
BOARDMAN -- After several years at its current location, Mothers Against Drunk Driving of Mahoning/Trumbull Counties is moving to its new offices at 7301 West Blvd.
The move is being made possible by DD4Hire.com, a Boardman-based company that provides designated drivers.
Brian Taillon, executive director of the MADD chapter, explained that because of a recent change in the national organization's charter, MADD's local chapters are no longer allowed to pay rent.
The chapter had been at 725 Boardman-Canfield Road.
"Because of these new changes, we were faced with two options. We could either move our phone into a local volunteer's home, or close down the operations here and forward calls to the Cleveland office," Taillon said.
"This would have been a tough thing for us to do, especially because we run the local VIP [Victims Impact Panel] program," Taillon continued. "It would be too difficult to handle all of the paperwork."
That's when DD4Hire stepped in and offered the local MADD organization new office space at no cost.
About the company
DD4Hire provides qualified designated drivers who will drive clients and their vehicle to or from social events. DD4Hire customers also use them for doctor's appointments, local errands and many other purposes.
"It gets people home safely and it provides jobs," says Taillon. "And as far as the designated-driver part goes, we certainly support the concept."
Nick Doinoff, president of DD4Hire, reflected on the impact MADD has made through the years.
"MADD is a fantastic organization. Before MADD's efforts, the term designated driver didn't exist. We're pleased to help them out with the new facilities," said Doinoff, "and we hope it encourages others to help this worthwhile organization."
