Beatitude House seeks items to give as gifts
YOUNGSTOWN -- Beatitude House, a nonprofit organization that provides transitional housing to homeless women with children, is seeking support for its annual Santa's Workshop.
People are asked to donate new or nearly new items that would make nice gifts for the women enrolled in the Beatitude House program.
Children are then invited to shop at Santa's Workshop to choose presents to give to their mothers on Christmas.
Items could include gloves, socks, a bath set or perfume. The organization asks that you do not donate candles.
People can bring unwrapped gift items to the organization's administrative office on the North Side at 287 Lora Ave., near the corner of Fifth Avenue and Lora from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
People can also deliver items to any program office in Youngstown or Warren. All items must be received by Dec. 15.
