Angels to sponsor magical evening Nov. 19

Proceeds of the event will benefit Easter Seals in three counties.
BOARDMAN -- The public is invited to the 19th annual Magic of an Angels Christmas to be held by the Angels of Easter Seals at 6 p.m. Nov. 19 at Antone's Banquet Centre.
Planned as a benefit for Easter Seals of Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana counties, the event will begin with a social hour at 6 p.m., and the evening will feature a gourmet dinner at 7, entertainment, a cash bar and valet-secure parking.
There will be a live auction for four decorated themed trees. Also to be auctioned will be the use of a suite at the Youngstown Convocation Center for a Steelhounds game, outside house decorations for Christmas, an antique silver tea service, and crystal and china service pieces for 12.
A key feature
Those attending may purchase a key from a glass slipper. One key will open a lock and the winner will receive a diamond bracelet valued at $5,200.
A silent auction will be held for holiday and designer items including domed miniature Christmas trees, an assortment of gift baskets containing various gift items such as a Fitz and Floyd Santa arrangement, scotch and cigars, wine and three Christopher Radko tree toppers.
There will also be a drawing for four theme trees: "Idora Park," "My Favorite Team," "Ladies Night Out" and "Off to the Beach." Winners of the drawings will also receive the gifts under the trees. Raffle books for the drawings may still be purchased for $5 from any Angel of by calling the center at (330) 743-1168.
Contributions
Those wishing to make a donation to the event are asked to call the center. A donation of $25 will purchase an ornament for the Children's Magical Tree, one of the items to be featured in the live auction.
Lynn Bucci and Jill Chesney, co-chairmen for the event, are being assisted by all the Angels.
