Poland Rotary announces selection of president-elect



XPOLAND -- Michael Klim of Campbell was named the president-elect of Poland Rotary during the club's October meeting at Bruno's Restaurant in Poland.
Announcement of his election was made by Mary Ann Martinko, current president, who is serving as Kim's instructor while he learns the ropes of running the organization before officially assuming the post in January.
Klim, a member of Poland Rotary for three years, runs an accounting practice, MJK Financial Services, and is an active member of numerous church, community and public service organizations. He will be a candidate for the office of Mahoning County auditor in the May 2006 election. He and his wife, Maureen, have five daughters.
Under Klim's guidance, Poland Rotary will continue to support such organizations as Alzheimer's Association, American Cancer Society, Boys and Girls Club of Youngstown, Anthony and Paula Rich Center, American Heart Association, Court Appointed Special Advocate, American Diabetes Association, Junior Achievement, Help Hotline, Multiple Sclerosis SVC Agency, Millcreek Children's Center, Sojourner House, YMCA of Youngstown, Ursuline HIV/AIDS Ministry, Poland Interfaith Pantry and Youngstown Hearing and Speech.
