Former FBI agent to be speaker at lecture

WARREN -- A former undercover FBI agent with local connections and unique experiences in penetrating the Mafia will be the YWCA Trumbull Town Hall lecturer at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in W.D. Packard Music Hall.
Edgar Robb was the only agent ever to become boss of a Mafia business with his own territory and crew and the only undercover agent to pierce the American, Italian and Sicilian Mafias.
A graduate of Thiel College in Greenville, Pa., Robb taught English and coached football in Howland, served four years as a Virginia state senator and is Albermarle (Va.) County sheriff.
Before the lecture, he will autograph his book, "Friends of the Family," which will be available for purchase and relates his experiences as an undercover agent.
Lecture tickets are $25. High school and college students may buy tickets for $5. Contact YWCA of Warren at (330) 373-1010.
