Ag society elects directors, officers

CANFIELD -- The Mahoning County Agricultural Society elected directors and officers at its annual meeting Wednesday.
Elected president for 2006-07 was Kathryn Bennett of Green Township. Vice president is Judge James C. Evans of Mahoning County Common Pleas Court of Canfield Township. Secretary-treasurer is Mark Makoski of Poland Township.
Newly elected directors are Bennett, George Berlin of Milton Township, James Brown Jr. of Berlin Township, Ward Campbell of Ellsworth Township, Andrew Frost of Austintown, Craig Myers of Berlin Township and George Roman of Canfield Township.
Campbell's term expires in November 2007. The others' terms expire in 2008.
