Commissioners change meeting site for Nov.
MERCER, Pa. -- Mercer County commissioners will meet in their first-floor conference room instead of the basement assembly room through November.
They said Tuesday at their Chief Clerk's meeting that the assembly room will be closed through Nov. 23 for the general election. It's next to the elections office and used for training, counting and other election-related functions.
In addition, commissioners' regular meetings have been changed to Nov. 2 and 16 and Dec. 7 and 21 because of the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.
The Nov. 22 chief clerk's meeting has been canceled because the commissioners will be attending a meeting of the County Commissioners' Association of Pennsylvania. Chief clerk's meetings are at 10:30 a.m. Tuesdays in the commissioner's conference room.
