November 1, 1930: Akron motorists taking advantage of 12-cent-per-gallon gasoline during a gas war in that city may not be getting what they pay for. State officials say that some Akron distributors are cutting their gasoline with as much as 15 to 20 percent kerosene. Some 21 railroad tankers filled with kerosene have been delivered to Akron in the last month and the fate of those shipments cannot be determined.
