WILLIAM D. REESE*
Age: 66.Home: 7566 Herbert Road, Canfield Township.Education: Attended YSU, concentrating in engineering and accounting; graduate of Austintown Fitch High School.Employment: retired; self-employed, Reese Industries, industrial tool sales, construction.Family: Wife JoAnn; 3 children; 2 grandchildren.Priority: To maintain the quality of the township and help solve the inherent problems that come with explosive growth. Storm water drainage must be addressed along with sewer and water issues, and work must be continued to obtain money to fund necessary projects. In addition, traffic is a major concern.
J. RANDY BRASHEN
Age: 54.Home: 3964 Shields Road, Canfield Township.Employment: Plans to be full-time trustee; was sole proprietor of Petroleum Resources of Ohio Inc.; was sole proprietor of GrassRoots Lawn Care Inc.Education: YSU; AB in geography, The Ohio State University; graduate of Hubbard High School.Family: Wife Jo Anne; one daughter; two grandchildren.Priority: To return to annual road-paving, to support the zoning inspector in his efforts to bring the zoning laws and rules up to date, to support the road supervisor in his efforts to maintain and improve the roads and road equipment and to work as closely as possible with the Cardinal Joint Fire District.

Age: 48.Home: 3835 Fairway Drive, Canfield Township.Employment: ITT Technical Institute, computer and electronics instructor; and National Electronics Curriculum Committee member.Education: Chaney High School graduate; Avionics Communications Technical School honor graduate; USAF, Associates Degree in avionics systems; CCAF, associates Degree in Electronics Engineering Technology; CCAF, Bachelor's Degree in physics; Utica College of Syracuse University, Master's Degree Candidate in Management; Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.Family: Single.Priority: Being progressive, while trying to change the historic nature of Canfield Township. Change must be well-thought-out, so as to retain the area's natural beauty and character. Stopping the frivolous spending. Treating every penny of tax money as if it were his, and making every decision as if it directly affected him.
