$2M bond set for accused in woman's death
WARREN -- A 26-year-old Warren man who could face the death penalty if convicted of aggravated murder is being held on $2 million bond.
David N. Hollie, of Porter Street Northeast, appeared Monday before Judge Peter J. Kontos in Trumbull County Common Pleas Court on six felony charges.
Hollie, who is being held in the Trumbull County Jail, is charged with the Oct. 22 shooting death of Angeline Lavine, 37, of Scott Street Northeast at a Summit Street Northwest home.
Lavine later died in Forum Health Trumbull Memorial Hospital. Hollie was arrested at his home about an hour after the shooting.
No motive has been given for the shooting.
The grand jury also indicted Hollie, also known as "Shorty," on Thursday with aggravated burglary with a firearms specification, aggravated robbery with a firearms specification, illegal possession of a firearms by a convicted felon and tampering with evidence.
