1418 AUXILIARY
XA meeting of 1418 Auxiliary Seniors will be held at 1 p.m. June 9 at the Oak View in Struthers. Members are asked to note the date change. Henry Testa will preside, birthdays and anniversaries will be honored, and cards and bingo will be played. The tour director will be collecting for the trip to Wheeling Downs and assigning seats for the Grand Victoria trip. Seats are still available for Paul Anka, Gateway Clipper, Seneca and Greektown. XBrownlee Woods Senior Citizens will meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Faith Community United Church of Christ, corner of Sheridan and Midlothian boulevards, for crafts and cards. June Bell is the new craft instructor who will be assisting members. New members are welcome.
CAMPBELL
XMembers of Campbell Senior Citizens will meet from noon to 4 p.m. June 7 at the Oak View in Struthers. Blood pressures will be taken from 12:15 to 12:45 p.m., and a presentation will be given by Dr. Felix Pesa. Lunch will be served at 2 p.m. followed by table games. ERIE RAILROAD
XErie Mahoning Valley Railroad Association will meet at noon Tuesday at Lucianno's Restaurant, 1732 Raccoon Road, Austintown. After lunch there will be reports on the health and welfare of railroad retirees. Birthdays and anniversaries will be observed. All railroad retirees are welcome. Membership is open.
GIRARD
XGirard Senior Citizens will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Senior Center. A dice game will be played after the business meeting, and tickets will be sold for the June 15 picnic; cost is $7.
GOLDEN CIRCLE
XGolden Circle Seniors of St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church will meet at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church activity center with Nicholas Terlecky presiding. Reports will be given by secretary Mary Jean Vrabel, treasurer Dolores Schurko, and sunshine chairwoman Ann Hritz. Mary Zackasee and Flo Filo will collect the luncheon fees for July. Birthdays and anniversaries will be acknowledged. A 50-50 raffle, cards and board games are planned. A liturgy for the deceased and living members will be held a 11 a.m.
MAHONING RETIRED TEACHERS
XMahoning Retired Teachers Association will meet June 8 at Antone's Banquet Centre, 8578 Market St., Boardman. A social hour at 5 p.m. will precede dinner at 6. MARTHA LUPSE
XBridge, 500, chess and checkers will be played when Martha Lupse 50-Plus Card and Game Club meets from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Room 106 at Poland United Methodist Church. Ken Barnhart will lead devotions. Members are reminded to take a sack lunch. Coffee and tea will be provided. No affiliation with the church is required for participation. RETIREE RNS
XRetired Registered Nurses will hold its annual catered lunch by reservation at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Western Reserve United Methodist Church in Canfield. Members are asked to take items for battered women, and the club books will be audited. Meetings will resume in September.
ST. CHRISTINE
XA meeting of St. Christine Senior Citizens will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Gutman Hall with Harriet Moschella presiding. Jeanne Baechly and Mary Jo Theis will give reports, and hostesses will be Rosemary Cerbone, Ann Baging, Nellie Antonelli, Irene Hlasta, Helen Greiner and Virginia Bestic. Bingo and cards will be played, and there will be 50-50 and birthday drawings. Members may sign up for the July 13 picnic, which is free for those members who have attended six or more meetings. Cost is $9 for all others, and guests are welcome.
