XBOARDMAN --Nuptial vows were exchanged during a 2:30 p.m. ceremony May 13 as Heidi Lynn Scott, 4201 Logangate Road, Liberty, and Christopher Adam Giusto, 331 W. Salem St., Columbiana, were united in marriage at St. James Meeting Place.
Pastor Robert Quaintance presided at the ceremony for the daughter of Daniel and Elaine Scott, 81 Westview Ave., Hubbard, and the son of Calvin and Lynette Giusto, 49850 Duke Road, Calcutta.
The couple accepted congratulations during a reception held at The Georgetown, then left on a Caribbean cruise.
Peridot gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Tracie Esposito of Youngstown, the bride's sister, and bridesmaid Heidi Salapata of Niles. The flower girl was the bride's cousin, Alivia O'Brien of Masury.
Best man was the groom's brother, Kenny Giusto of Kent, and groomsman was John Giusto of Columbus, his uncle. The ring bearer was the bride's nephew, Gavin Esposito of Youngstown.
The couple are living in Durham, N.C., where the bride will pursue a master's degree in history at Duke University. She is a graduate of Youngstown State University with a bachelor's in history and political science.
The groom, a graduate of YSU with a bachelor's in engineering, was employed at Majestic Manufacturing in New Waterford as a mechanical engineer.
