GARDEN CLUBS

WEDNESDAY
XMahoning will have a guest day luncheon at noon at Tippecanoe Country Club. Hostesses will be Lois Boulis and Dorothy Demen.
XMen's Garden Club will have a casserole dinner for members, spouses and guests only at Boardman Park Community Center. A social at 6 p.m. will precede dinner at 6:30. Each member is asked to take a covered dish and table service. Meat, rolls, butter and beverage will be furnished. A scholarship will be awarded to a horticulture or floriculture student, and the plant auction will follow. For information call Leno Laner at (330) 542-3090.
THURSDAY
XMembers of St. Charles will have their annual picnic at 6 p.m. in Father Haidet Hall. Food, games, music and prizes will be available.
SATURDAY
XIkebana will begin setting up at 9 a.m. for a show at the Davis Center. Two entries will be accepted from each participant, and the show will be open to the public from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Members will meet at 4 p.m. Sunday to take down the show.
XGarden club events are published Sundays. The deadline is noon Thursday.
