A summary of recent criminal activity in Boardman Township:
May 24
Theft: A woman discovered her purse missing from a shopping cart while she was at Marc's, 7121 Tiffany Blvd.
Assault/criminal damage: A woman told officers she was assaulted, and that a window on her car was broken while she was near Rockdale and Glenwood avenues.
Theft: A man reported being a victim of theft while at the Roly Poly restaurant, 714 Boardman-Canfield Road.
Theft/criminal damage: A man returned to his car from Giant Eagle, 476 Boardman-Canfield Road, and found it had been damaged, and that items were missing.
Theft: A woman discovered a CD player had been removed from her vehicle while she was in the 7200 block of Market Street.
Arrest: After a traffic stop, a 35-year-old Boardman man was charged with operating a vehicle while under the influence.
Arrest: Officers arrested a 40-year-old Youngstown woman and charged her with theft. She was accused of stealing $414.50 worth of clothing from Kohl's, Boardman-Poland Road.
Arrest: An 18-year-old Struthers woman surrendered to police. She was wanted on three warrants charging her with possession of drugs, a felony, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of drug-abuse instruments, both misdemeanors.
Arrest: A New Middletown man, 49, turned himself in and was arrested on a felony warrant charging him with passing bad checks.
May 25
Auto theft: A man reported his 1991 Pontiac Sunbird stolen while he was at Kemas Auto Service, 4700 Lake Park Road.
Breaking and entering: An employee at Aladdin's Eatery, 7325 South Ave., noticed the business had been entered and that $1,000 was missing.
Theft: A man reported property belonging to a business was stolen while he was at Pennzoil Ten Minute Oil Change Center, 6122 Market St.
Criminal damage: A woman in the 1300 block of Valley View Drive reported her vehicle's driver's-side door sustained damage.
Assault: A woman told police she had been assaulted at an apartment in the 800 block of Cook Avenue.
Theft: An employee at the J.C. Penney store in the Southern Park Mall reported the theft of $137 worth of clothing.
Assault/criminal damage: A man told police he had been assaulted while in the Salty Grogs parking lot, 1203 Boardman-Poland Road. His girlfriend reported her car's driver's-side door and mirror were damaged.
Theft: A woman reported 63 OxyContin tablets stolen from her home in the 200 block of Meadowbrook Avenue.
Arrest: After her car was stopped near South Avenue and Lake Park Road, a 43-year-old Youngstown woman was arrested on a felony warrant charging her with passing bad checks.
Arrest: Austintown police turned over a Youngstown man, 45, to Boardman police. He is wanted on two felony warrants charging him with one count each of receiving stolen property and forgery.
