Gray's two-hitter lifts Bud's/DiCioccio to win

YOUNGSTOWN -- Tim Gray pitched a two-hitter with 12 strikeouts as Bud's/DiCioccio Construction posted a 4-2 victory over Penn Ohio in a Class AA League game at Oakland Field.
Bud's broke a 1-1 tie as it scored three runs in the third inning. Frank Santore walked, Mark Nightingale and Rick Gozur followed with singles and Joe Marzano hit a double.
Marzano also singled and finished with three RBIs.

Roth Brothers scored at least one run in each inning to prevail at Pemberton-Donnell Park.
Jim Putko went 3-for-4 with a double and two RBIs. Ryan Johnson and Sean Wardle each had two hits.
Willie Sly singled twice for Gibson Governor Insurance.
Y Town Metros 5, Tri County 2
Behind 2-0 at Pemberton-Donnell Park, Y Town scored five runs in the fifth inning on a hit batter, error, three singles and doubles by Josh Conkey and Mike Diniro.
Mike Lough paced Y Town with three singles. B.J. DeCerbo had a single and a double for Tri County.
