ABWA Charter Chapter observes 50th, names woman of year

BOARDMAN -- The Youngstown Charter Chapter of the American Business Women's Association celebrated its 50th anniversary during a meeting May 17 at Soffo's Restaurant.
The group is the oldest chapter of ABWA in Mahoning and Trumbull counties.
The chapter also named Patty Coogan as its Woman of the Year. An employee at Profile Energy, Coogan has been a member of ABWA for 26 years, has served on the board nine times and has either chaired or served on every committee during her membership.
A resident of Poland, she is a single mom and a grandmother.
