Terry Rosenberg had two hits for Salem.Joe Koch Realty 6, Wharmby Sports 5 -- Justin Goldberg drew a bases-loaded walk to score Jonathan Brady with the game-winning run in the bottom of the seventh inning. Koch was led by Jared Kirin's six innings of one-hit pitching and by Dom Jackett's two hits and three RBIs. Struthers Gridiron 6, Springfield Lions 3 -- Gridiron had 11 hits, led by Dom Lariccia who was 3-for-4 with a double and scored twice. Justin Edwards added a pair of singles and Mike Hallden and Jon Rhoads each had a double. Jake Thomas allowed four hits and struck out 10 in a complete game. Mike Kirby fanned eight for Springfield.Struthers Gridiron 6, Campbell North Star Painting 3 -- Rich Mularchik struck out five and held Campbell to six hits. Jake Thomas struck out the side in the seventh in relief. Mike Hallden went 3-for-4 with a triple, while Dom Lariccia and Eric Stout both singled twice. Stout also scored three runs. For Campbell, Wade Daniels and Bob Firm both doubled.Struthers Gridiron 10, Boardman McDonald Financial 7 -- Jake Thomas struck out nine and in five innings and Jon Rhoads struck out four in two innings. Rich Mularchik was 3-for-3 with a pair of doubles and Thomas singled twice and doubled. Mike Hallden and Justin Edwards each had a pair of singles and Dom Lariccia doubled. Bob French, Rick Blangero, Mike Tarantino and Paul Jacobs each doubled for Boardman.Boardman Eastern Offset 6, Boardman McDonald Financial Group 3 -- Eric Walters pitched five innings and Danny Eich relieved as they held McDonald to four hits. Offset was led by Eich, Pat McFall and Kyle Jones, all with two hits. McFall and Jones hit home runs.
Poland Funny Farm Comedy Club 4, Poland David's Heating 2 -- Ryan Mrokovic and Ron Sobinovsky had the key hits for Funny Farm. Zack Custer and Brett Vardavas allowed just two hits in the win. Trey Lidle and Chris Hatcher had the lone singles for David's Heating.
Canfield Allison Waste Disposal 2, Austintown Home Savings and Loan 1 -- Ronnie Sullivan pitched a three-hitter for five innings and Mike Gangus sealed the win with no-hit pitching the final two innings. Mark Pelini had three hits including two doubles. Luke Hammond had a double and Jon Dina and Chris Miller each singled.Lowellville Conti 6, Struthers Gridiron 4 -- Billy Scacchetti pitched a complete game for Lowellville, striking out 12. Dante Abbas homered and doubled, while Anthony Schiraldi doubled and John Vasilchek hit a two-run single.
