Ohio man says he drowned his 13-month-old son in tub

FORT JENNINGS, Ohio (AP) -- A man who called 911 to say he drowned his 13-month-old son in a bathtub has been charged with aggravated murder.
Michael Luebrecht, 36, told the operator Monday afternoon that he drowned his son but did not say why, said Putnam County Sheriff Jim Beutler.
The sheriff said Luebrecht and his wife have two other children, one who was in school and the other who was with a baby sitter.
"He didn't indicate any trouble with the baby," Beutler said. "Something snapped somewhere and that's it. There are things we never figure out sometimes."
His wife, Amy, was at work at the post office. She told deputies her husband always had been a good father, Beutler said.
Luebrecht had not worked for at least six months because of a medical problem, Beutler said. He did not have a criminal record, the sheriff said.
A volunteer firefighter who lives across the street found the baby, still in his clothes, lifeless on a bed, the sheriff said.
The baby was pronounced dead at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima, Beutler said.
