ILLINOIS-CHICAGO (35-18-1, 14-6) -- The Flames are the league's regular-season champions and the No. 1 seed in the tournament. They lead the league in team batting with a .309 average and are second in home runs with 37. Larry Gempp is the top hitter with a .356 average and eight homers. Mark Hallberg is batting .355 with three homers and 40 RBIs. Ted Rosinski at .320, leads the team in RBIs with 43. The Flames also have the league's top pitcher in Zach Peterson, who is 8-1 with a 3.33 earned run average. Ryan Zink carries a 7-5 mark.
UW-MILWAUKEE (22-29, 12-8) -- The Panthers are the No. 3 seed in the tournament and possess the league's top home run hitter in Joe Nowicki, who has 10 and 35 RBIs. Nowicki is also batting .348. Zak Rivera leads the team in hitting with a .370 average and six homers, while Mike Goetz is batting .346. The Panthers top pitcher is Aaron Sorenson with an 8-3 record while Korey Kellen has a 5-3 mark.
WRIGHT STATE (24-31, 11-9) -- The Raiders are the No. 4 seed in the tournament and have the league's second best team batting average of .305. They also are second in the conference in home runs with 34. Justin Wilson is the top hitter with a .342 average, followed by Ross Oeder at .328 and Bryan Vickers at .315. The Raiders' top pitcher is Robert Barrett at 6-4, while Ross Vagedes carries a 4-2 mark.
CLEVELAND STATE (13-34, 5-15) -- The Vikings had to sweep their final series against Butler to move up to the No. 5 seed in the tournament. Their top hitter is Mike Ochwat with a .356 average, while Dom Erney is hitting .327 with eight home runs and 32 RBIs. The Vikings' top pitchers are Gian Testa (2-2, 3.13 ERA) and Matt Keltenbach (4-6, 4.81 ERA.)
BUTLER (19-33, 4-12) -- The Bulldogs struggled at the end of the season, falling into the No. 6 seed. They do have the league's top hitter in Alex Rinearson, who is hitting .388 with five home runs. Butler's Dale Mueller is also the league's No. 2 hitter with a .371 average and three homers, while Joe Pauley is batting .338. Craig Costello leads the Butler pitchers with a 5.3 record while Jim Knytych has a 4-6 record.
