XWEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. -- The University Inn was the setting April 23 for the wedding and reception of Brandy Maienbrook, 519 Ridgemoor Drive, No. 1, Fort Wayne, Ind., and Joshua Shoaff, 11303 Lisbon Road, Salem.
The couple exchanged nuptial vows during a 2 p.m. ceremony officiated by Ryan Shoaff, the groom's brother. After a honeymoon to Kauai, Hawaii, they are living in Fort Wayne.
The bride's parents are Ginny Spencer of Rensselaer, Ind., and Russ Maienbrook of Monon, Ind.
Parents of the groom are Robert and Jenelle Shoaff, of the Salem address.
The bride's white, brushed satin gown featured a corset back and full, ballgown skirt.
Lilac gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Amberlie O'Toole of Indianapolis, and the bridesmaids, Lisa Devore of Canfield and Laurie Brinsko of Lowellville. A niece of the groom, Abigail Shoaff of Albion, Ill., was dressed in white as the flower girl.
Jason Gudat of Salem served as best man, and groomsmen were Paul Kittel of North Lima and Jon Pitts of Salem. Andrew Shoaff of Albion, nephew of the groom, was the ring bearer.
The bride holds a bachelor's degree in fashion merchandising from Kent State University. She is employed by American Greetings in Fort Wayne. The groom, who served in the U.S. Army, was an installer for Shoaff's Floor Covering in Salem.
