CANFIELD
May 16
Theft: Two male students at Canfield High School, 100 Cardinal Drive, reported that $25 in cash had been taken from their belongings inside the locker room of the weight room building.
May 17
Drug possession: An 18-year-old Petersburg man was arrested at the Mahoning County Career and Technical Center, 7300 N. Palmyra Road after three pill bottles were found in his car.
Theft of funds: The owner of B & amp;B Bonding, 141 Talsman Drive, reported that an unknown amount of money had been embezzled from the company. He went to police and said he thought some former employees were diverting funds for their own use.
May 18
Marijuana, drug paraphernalia: Two people in a vehicle were arrested on Broad Street after police said they found two suspected marijuana cigars, a digital scale, a bag of 28.3 grams of suspected marijuana, two 3.4-gram bags of suspected marijuana and a single roach in their vehicle. Police also found prescription bottles for Acomplex, one containing 75 pills and a yellow bottle containing 48 pills. A 20-year-old Youngstown woman was charged with drug abuse marijuana and drug possession and a 22-year-old Youngstown man was charged with drug abuse marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

May 16
Theft from auto: The rear window of a vehicle was broken and a DVD player stolen at the Fairfield Inn, 801 N. Canfield-Niles Road.
Recovered property: A 2-foot white statue was recovered in the parking lot of 1073 Compass West apartments.
Theft: A checkbook and credit cards were stolen from Lane's Funeral Home, 5767 Mahoning Ave.
Criminal damage: A side of a house was hit with paint balls in the 400 block of Westgate Boulevard.
Theft: Money was taken from the victim's account at First National Bank, 5622 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: A man was arrested on theft charges at Dollar General, 1739 S. Raccoon Road.
Criminal damage: A paint scratch was reported on a vehicle in the parking lot at Giant Eagle, 5220 Mahoning Ave.
May 17
Theft from auto: Golf clubs were stolen from a vehicle in the 3000 block of Sandalwood Lane.
Weapons offense: School officials discovered that a 13-year-old boy at Frank Ohl Middle School, 255 Idaho Road, had a folding knife in his possession. He was placed in the Juvenile Justice Center.
Theft: A skateboard was stolen from the Stomping Grounds, 1739 S. Raccoon Road.
Burglary: A generator and a chainsaw were stolen from an attached garage in the 3400 block of Patricia Avenue.
Theft: More than 16 gallons of gasoline were stolen from Pilot Oil, 1150 N. Niles-Canfield Road.
May 18
Criminal damage: Lawn damage was reported in the 300 block of Elmwood Ave.
Theft: Three people were arrested at Giant Eagle, 5220 Mahoning Ave., including a Niles man on charges of theft, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana; another Niles man on a disorderly-conduct charge; and a Niles woman on a warrant from Niles Municipal Court.
Theft: A man was charged with theft and fleeing at Giant Eagle.
Theft: $9 in gasoline was stolen from a BP gas station, 3107 S. Canfield-Niles Road

Criminal damaging: A vehicle was damaged at Big Lots, 4341 Kirk Road.
Theft: A 10-foot trailer with a 200-gallon water tank and a pressure washer were stolen at the Robbins Co., 3805 Hendricks Road.
Theft: $20.09 in fuel was stolen from a BP gas station, 3602 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: A summons was issued for a man accused of stealing amplifiers and an auto compact-disc player at Wal-Mart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.
Auto theft: A 1997 Chevrolet Monte Carlo was stolen at Bob and Chuck Eddy Chrysler Dodge and Jeep, 4850 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: An employee was short-changed $30 at Country Fair, 1143 N. Niles-Canfield Road.
Theft: A gasoline drive-off was reported at Country Fair.

Personal injury: A dog bite was reported in the 300 block of Edinburgh Drive.
Drug offense: A Steubenville man was arrested on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and drug abuse after being accused of being in possession of suspected crack cocaine at state Route 46 and Seventy-Six Drive.
Theft: Two suspects were arrested on theft charges at Payless Shoe Source, 6000 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: $315 in cash was stolen from Pilot Oil, 1150 N. Canfield-Niles Road.
Disorderly conduct: Two people were issued summonses for disorderly conduct at St. Anne's Church, 4301 Kirk Road.

Liquor violations: The owner and a 19-year-old female were both issued summonses for a liquor violation at the Sandbar, 169 S. Four-Mile Run Road.
Disorderly conduct: A man was placed in county jail accused of disorderly conduct at Perkin's Restaurant, 550 Interstate Blvd.
Breaking and entering, structure: Tools were taken out of a vehicle in a garage in the 100 block of Westminister Avenue.
Criminal damaging: Yard lights were damaged at a residence in the 3000 block of Starwick Drive.
Breaking and entering, structure: Stereos and tools were taken from a residence in the 2000 block of Bainbridge Street.
Property damage: A shopping cart struck a vehicle in the parking lot at Marc's, 4755 Mahoning Ave.
Felonious assault: A woman was arrested and placed in county jail after being charged with felonious assault near Oakwood and North Beverly aveunes.
Recovered property: An electric mini-motorcycle was recovered in the 3000 block of Evelyn Avenue.
Theft: A chain was taken from a camper/trailer in the 4000 block of Kirk Road.
Theft: A woman was arrested on a theft count at Payless Shoes, 6000 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: Household items were stolen from an apartment in the 400 block of Raccoon Road.
Personal injury: A man on a bicycle hit a pothole and sustained an injury to his face. He was transported to St. Elizabeth Health Center after the accident at Mahoning Avenue and Four Mile Run Road.
Criminal damaging: Two tires were cut on a vehicle at Wedgewood Lanes, 1741 S. Raccoon Road.

Animal complaints: An owner was issued a summons for a barking dog in the rear yard of a residence in the 90 block of Kenmar Court.
Drug offense: A Youngstown woman was charged with possession of marijuana in the 200 block of Rosemont Ave.
Drug offense: A Youngstown man was arrested and placed in county jail on a charge of drug abuse of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia and permitting drug abuse in a motor vehicle in the 5300 block of Seventy-Six Drive.
Theft: Two women were issued summonses accusing them of theft at Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave.
