SOCIETY OF HONORS Seniors who built the Valley to be honored at June luncheon



Miss Ohio will be on hand to assist at the event.
NILES -- Fifteen outstanding senior citizens in the Trumbull County area will be honored at SCOPE Inc.'s "Society of Honors" luncheon June 7 at Ciminero's Banquet Center, 123 Main St.
Nominees for the award have given to their community or enriched many lives volunteering or working in the fields of business, church, communications, community/good neighbor, education, health care, labor, music, military, safety services, social services or sports. They helped build the Valley.
Participating
Miss Ohio, Amanda Beagle, will assist as official greeter for the event, helping Lillie Johnson, president of SCOPE's board of trustees, and the mayors of Warren and Niles, Michael O'Brien and Ralph Infante, respectively, with award presentations.
Jennifer Mosher will be the featured soloist, and the Barber Shoppers and a string quartet from Youngstown State University also will provide entertainment.
Tickets are $20 per person and can be obtained by calling SCOPE at (330) 399-8846. Sponsorships also are available at the diamond level for $1,000 or at the emerald level for $500.
