Six-month drug investigation leads to the arrest of two men

NILES -- A Mason Street man was arrested on a charge of trafficking in drugs shortly after city police searched his home.
Charles A. Whittaker, no age available, was arrested on the charge after police found a large quantity of cocaine, cash and a loaded handgun in the home. Marijuana, along with other drug paraphernalia, was also found.
Another man, who was at the home during the Friday afternoon search, Warren M. Stanley, no age or address available, was arrested on charges of possession of cocaine and illegal possession of a weapon.
The arrests came after a six-month investigation by city police. A press release from police said investigators purchased crack cocaine from several people living at the home.
