XYOUNGSTOWN -- Fellows Riverside Gardens in Mill Creek Park was the setting at 6 p.m. April 22 for the marriage of Shannon Sullivan and Ryan Jones, both of 231 W. 4th St., Cincinnati.
The daughter of James and Anne Sullivan, 231 A Talsman Drive, Canfield, and the son of Robert Jones and Mary Lynn Jones, both of Louisville, Ky., exchanged their vows before Judge James Lanzo of Struthers Municipal Court. A reception was held at the Davis Center in the gardens, then the couple left for a honeymoon in Jamaica.
They are living in Cincinnati, where the bride is an emergency room nurse at Good Samaritan Hospital and the groom is a police officer for the city. She earned a bachelor's degree in nursing at the University of Akron, and he earned a bachelor's in criminal justice and English at Xavier University in Cincinnati.
The bride wore a strapless, A-line sheath embellished with crystals, sequins, beads and pearls.
Attired in periwinkle-blue dresses were honor attendants Mollie Pashayan of Jacksonville, Fla., the bride's sister, and Dr. Julie Mark of Bath, and the flower girl, Megan Sullivan of Hudson, her niece.
The grooms' father was best man, and Christian Olsen, his brother-in-law, was groomsman.
