Pompili 50th anniversary is celebrated

XHUBBARD -- The children of Edward and Ann Pompili, 125 Furlen Court, Hubbard, hosted a 50th anniversary celebration at the Youngstown Club on May 21.
Invitations were issued for the dinner party by the couple's children, Edward A. Pompili, Regina and Robert Gatti, and Lisha and Brian Baumiller, all of Hubbard.
The former Ann Pontino and Mr. Pompili were married on May 21, 1955, at St. Nicholas Church in Struthers.
Mrs. Pompili retired in 1998 from Bank One in Youngstown, where she worked as a business services representative.
Mr. Pompili, a Korean War veteran, retired in 1983 from G.A.T.X. in Masury, where he was a millwright.
Both are members of St. Patrick Church in Hubbard. He is also a member of the Knights of Columbus, and she belongs to the K. of C. Auxiliary.
