XHUBBARD -- Katie Matola, daughter of Kathy and Anthony Matola, all of 734 N. Main St., and Samuel Costello, 736 N. Main St., son of Stephanie and Samuel Costello, Fawn Court, Boardman, were married April 9 at St. Patrick Church.
The couple exchanged vows during a 12:30 p.m. ceremony with the Revs. Cyril Adamko and William Petruniak officiating.
A reception followed at the Victorian Room in Niles before the couple left for a honeymoon in Kauai, Hawaii.
The bride and groom work for Town and Country Veterinary Hospital in Warren, she as a veterinary technician and he as a veterinarian.
Mrs. Costello also works for St. Elizabeth Health Center as a volunteer coordinator. She earned associate degrees in veterinary technology and computer programming at Columbus State University.
Mr. Costello earned a doctor of veterinary medicine degree at Ohio State University.
They are living at the 736 N. Main St. residence.
Maid of honor Heidi Poschnur wore a burgundy dress.
The groom's brother-in-law, Jim Parks, served as best man, and the bride's brother, Tony Matola, and his cousin, Mike Catheline, were ushers.
Vickie, a standard poodle, and Bear, a chow-husky mix, who serve in K-9's for Compassion, carried the rings for their owners.
