Golf classic for heart association set at Youngstown Country Club



Proceeds will go toward research, educational and advocacy.
LIBERTY TOWNSHIP -- Golfers of all skill levels may register for the American Heart Association's 2005 Golf Classic Scramble June 20 at Youngstown Country Club.
The 18-hole, four-person scramble will begin with a shotgun start at 1 p.m.
The fee of $250 per person includes lunch at 11:30 a.m., golf carts, refreshments on the course and an awards reception after play.
Team and individual prizes will be awarded, and golfers will have the opportunity to win hole-in-one prizes, including a $25,000 prize. Monetary prizes will be awarded to golfers for the longest putt and closest to the pin on a par three.
Proceeds will benefit the American Heart Association's cardiovascular research, educational and advocacy programs in the community.
