4 to be arraigned on sex solicitation charge
YOUNGSTOWN -- Four men accused of soliciting a sex act from an undercover vice squad officer on the South Side on Friday were issued citations that require them to be in municipal court Monday for arraignment.
Charged are James Willis, 67, of Shannon Circle, Mineral Ridge; James McKinna, 77, of Woodhurst Drive, Austintown; Dennis Roller, 40, of Mineral Springs Avenue; and Larry W. Simpson, 52, of Oak Street, police said.
Warren education board to award cleaning pact
WARREN -- The Warren Board of Education will conduct a special meeting at 4 p.m. Tuesday in the Administration Building board room, 261 Monroe St. N.W., Warren. The meeting is to award the contract for the hazardous materials abatement of the newly acquired Elm Road properties and for the Willard School and to approve an amendment to the treasurer's contract.
Carrollton summer camp
CARROLLTON -- The Salvation Army will hold a summer camp for children ages 6 to 12 from July 28 to Aug. 2.
The camp will include swimming, fishing, canoeing, arts and crafts and more. There is no cost for the overnight camp.
The camp is in Carrollton.

Can drive to be held
WARREN -- An aluminum can drive for a Newton Falls teen will be from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. July 9, behind Sorrento's Restaurant, 2488 Parkman Road N.W.
Douglas Crawford was burned in a fire in Newton Falls last August. The drive will accept all aluminum beverage cans; cat food cans will be accepted only if they are in separate bags, the press release said.
