XAmerican Hungarian Club, Donald Avenue, will meet at 7:30 p.m. Monday at the club house. The topic of discussion will be the trash and treasure sale to be held June 4. XMcDonald Parents of Performing Arts will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the senior citizens room at the post office building.
XOhio Cultural Alliance will hold its last meeting of the season at 6 p.m. June 6 at St. Matthias Church Hall, corner of Cornell Avenue and Shady Run Road, Youngstown. A film, titled "Island of Hope -- Island of Tears," will be shown. During dinner, Betty Bannon will play the accordion and Sally Dolovy, the violin. Annual elections will be held, and the evening will conclude with a performance by The Youngstown Connection. Cost for the event is $11 for members and $16 for nonmembers. XWarren Women's Connection will host a ladies luncheon, titled "Root, Root, Root for the Home Team," from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 13 at Aulizio's Banquet Center, 4395 Youngstown-Warren Road.
