Recovered property: Police recovered a 1993 GMC Blazer, stolen in Boardman, in the 50 block of Abbey Street. In the back of the car was a lawn mower that had been taken from the Boardman Sears store.
Criminal damaging: An employee with the Girard Board of Education, 31 N. Ward Ave., discovered rocks had been tossed at some city school buses. One vehicle sustained minor damage to its windshield and hood.
Criminal damaging: An employee at Hold 'n' View Enterprises, 512 N. State St., noticed broken window panes on a door at the business.
Criminal damaging: Someone used rocks to break two glass block windows at the Mahoning River Yacht Club, 209 N. State St.
Criminal damaging: A man told police someone broke both headlights and a taillight on a panel truck parked at Kitchen & amp; Bath Cabinets Inc., 115 W. Broadway Ave.
Criminal damaging: Someone jumped over a fence and climbed onto a roof at Crystal Car Care, 201 N. State St., before breaking two glass block windows with rocks.
Criminal damaging: A man reported two windows broken at a vacant home he owns in the 20 block of East Broadway Avenue.

Unauthorized use of a vehicle: A woman in the 1000 block of North State Street said she let her former boyfriend take her 1998 Plymouth Voyager and that he failed to return it at an agreed-upon time.

Assault: A Forsythe Avenue woman told police she and her boyfriend were arguing as they rode in his vehicle and that, after pulling into Patrone Bros. Garden Center, 1752 N. State St., he slapped her on the cheek.
Breaking and entering: Someone removed an air-conditioning unit and entered an attorney's office in the 1600 block of South State Street through a window. An office was ransacked. Missing were a computer, a printer, a monitor and several other items.
Theft: A worker at Family Dollar, 900 N. State St., told officers a woman in her 40s left with an undetermined amount of clothing she hadn't paid for.
