Sinkovich and Knickerbocker wedding planned

XYOUNGSTOWN -- Robert and Carol Sinkovich, 23 Gillian Lane, are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Melissa Sinkovich, Indian Run Drive, Canfield, to Douglas Knickerbocker, 4528 Depot Road, Salem, son of David and Shirley Knickerbocker, same address.
The couple will exchange vows during a 2 p.m. ceremony Aug. 27 at St. Christine Church. An evening reception will be held at Our Lady of Mount Carmel. Invitations will be issued for both.
Miss Sinkovich attended Youngstown State University and is employed as a financial services representative with Alltel Communications in Boardman. Mr. Knickerbocker graduated from YSU with a bachelor's degree in computer science and mathematics and a master's in mathematics. He is a software programmer at Cboss Inc. in Boardman.
