XCroatian Home of St. George Lodge 66 will hold a pasta dinner from 4:30 to 8 p.m. at the clubrooms at 3200 Vestal Road, Youngstown. Dinners will feature your choice of red or white spaghetti, ravioli or cavatelli, salad and bread and butter and coffee. Proceeds benefit the club's building fund.

XHoly Trinity Church, 250 Bridge St., Struthers, will be selling potato, cabbage and lekvar pirogi. Orders will be taken from 1 to 3:30 p.m. Thursday and from 8 a.m. to noon Friday at (330) 755-0064. No walk-in orders will be accepted. Orders may be picked up from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Friday. Patrons are asked to provide containers. Next week will be the final sales until September.
XHoly Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church will serve fish dinners from 4 to 7 p.m. at the church hall, 53 Laird Ave., Youngstown. The menu will consist of baked or fried Icelandic cod, Spanish rice or haluski, macaroni and cheese, french fries, coleslaw, string beans, applesauce, bread, and coffee or tea. The cost is $7 for adults and $3.50 for children. Dessert will be an additional $1.50. Containers will be provided for takeouts. Orders will be accepted from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at (330) 792-1005.
XHoly Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church Hall, 526 W. Rayen Ave., Youngstown, will sell pirogi, hot pirogi lunches and homemade cake doughnuts (plain, cinnamon and powdered sugar). Orders will be taken from 8 to 11 a.m. Thursday and Friday at (330) 746-9528. Orders should be placed early and are to be picked up by 2 p.m. Friday. Cost is $4 for a dozen pirogi.
XHubbard VFW 3767 Auxiliary, 710 W. Liberty St., will hold a fish fry from 3:30 to 7 p.m. Cost is $6.75 for large dinners, baked or fried, and $5 for small dinners. XNational Shrine of Our Lady of Lebanon, 2759 Lipkey Road, North Jackson, will serve fish dinners from 3:30 to 7 p.m. Cost is $9 for adults and $6 for children 12 and under. The menu will feature baked or fried fish, a cook's choice fish or 21-piece shrimp, and a choice of hot foods and salad. Dessert is included along with coffee, tea or punch. XPotato, prune and kraut pirogi will be sold at St. Joseph the Provider Church, 633 Porter Ave., Campbell. Phone orders may be made beginning at 8 a.m. at (330) 755-1316. Orders can be picked up beginning at noon. Patrons are asked to provide their own containers. The final sale will be May 27.
XSt. Luke Church, 5235 South Ave., Boardman, will be baking Italian-style red and white pizza. Phone orders will be accepted at (330) 788-0025 between 8:30 a.m. and noon only. Pickup will be until 1 p.m.
XSt. Paul the Apostle Church, Main Street, New Middletown, will sell potato, sweet cabbage and cottage cheese pirogi. Orders can be called to (330) 542-3525 from 7 to 11 a.m. Thursday and Friday. No walk-in orders will be accepted. Pickup will be from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Friday. May 27 will be the last sale of the season.
XSt. Stanislaus Church, 430 Williamson Ave., Youngstown, will sell potato, kraut and cottage cheese pirogi. Advance orders are taken at (330) 747-3024 from 8:30 to 11 a.m. Thursday and 8 to 1 Friday, based on availability. The cost is $3.50 a dozen potato and kraut and $4 for cottage cheese. Lunches are served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday. Patrons are asked to provide their own containers and use the side entrance. The last sale of the season will be June 10.
SATURDAY
XCalvary United Methodist Church, 12062 South Ave., North Lima, will sponsor its 23rd annual chicken barbecue from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. The cost is $7.50 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under. Carryouts will be available. Dinner includes baked potato, green beans, applesauce, rolls and butter, homemade pies, cold drinks and coffee.
XSimon Road Church of God, 4750 Simon Road, Boardman, will serve an all-you-can-eat spaghetti dinner from 4 to 6 p.m. Tickets are $6 for adults, $3.50 for children 3 to 10 and free for those 2 and under. Proceeds will benefit the WCT Ladies of the church.
SUNDAY
XA pasta dinner will be held to support the Austintown Relay for Life will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Meander Masonic Lodge, 204 S. Salem-Warren Road, in North Jackson. Dinners will be $6; children under 5 are free. Carryouts will be available. There will also be a Chinese auction and 50-50 raffle.
XImmaculate Heart of Mary Parish Center, 4500 Norquest Blvd., Austintown, will be serving a roasted chicken dinner from noon to 4 p.m. Cost is $6.95, and dinner includes mashed potatoes and gravy, corn on the cob, salad, bread and butter, coffee, tea and dessert. Iced tea and pop is an extra $1.
XA roast beef dinner will be served from noon to 4 p.m. at the St. Joseph Social Hall, 4565 New Road, Austintown. Cost is $6.50 for adults and $3.50 for children under 12. The dinner is sponsored by the St. Joseph Men's Club.
XSt. Jude Youth Ministry will hold a spaghetti dinner from noon to 3 p.m. in the St. Jude Activity Center, 180 Seventh St., Columbiana. Cost is $6 for adults, $3 for children 3 to 12 and free for those 2 and under. Carryouts will be available.
