May 11
Theft: An employee at Lowe's, 1100 Doral Drive, reported the theft of a 20-horsepower riding mower.
Theft: A worker at Lucky Lotto in the Southern Park Mall discovered someone had taken $793 from the business.
Theft: A woman in the 700 block of Truesdale Road reported a wicker love seat, two wicker chairs and a coffee table stolen from her residence.
Theft: A worker at a BP station, 310 Boardman-Canfield Road, reported the theft of about 21 gallons of gasoline.
Theft: A woman told police someone took 70 pieces of women's clothing and three polo shirts from her while she was at Washing Well Coin Laundry, 7170 West Blvd.
Arrests: Police arrested a 24-year-old Boardman woman on a warrant charging her with theft; a 33-year-old Canfield man on charges of burglary and menacing by stalking; a 16-year-old Deerfield boy on a theft charge; and a Youngstown woman, 44. Charges against her were theft, two felony counts of receiving stolen property and one misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia. She also was wanted on two felony warrants charging her with theft and forgery.

Theft: An employee at Greenwood Market Motors, 7871 Market St., told police a man's car had been broken into. An in-dash compact-disc player was removed.
Breaking and entering: Someone kicked in the door to an apartment under construction in the 4200 block of Hillman Way. A toolbox, miscellaneous tools, drywall knives, a 25-foot measuring tape and other similar items were stolen.
Theft: A man discovered someone had taken a variety of flowers he was trying to sell from a parking lot in the 600 block of Boardman-Canfield Road.
Misuse of a credit card: A woman reported someone used or tried to use two of her credit cards at a BP gas station, 1090 Boardman-Poland Road; Wal-Mart, 1300 Doral Drive; and another Boardman business.
Assault: A woman told police she had been assaulted while at La Shirelle's, 222 Boardman-Canfield Road.
Misuse of a credit card: A woman in the 40 block of Melrose Avenue noticed fraudulent charges had been made to her account, possibly via the Internet.
Theft by deception: A woman told police she was tricked out of $400 while she was at the Shooting Gallery, 8070 Southern Blvd.
Robbery: A worker at Dilliard's in the Southern Park Mall told officers two people stole clothing and assaulted some employees.
Theft: A woman reported her bank debit card number was improperly used at Giant Eagle, 1201 Doral Drive.
Theft: Someone took a pair of shoes from Dollar General, 859 E. Midlothian Blvd.
Theft: Two people tried to leave Sears in the Southern Park Mall without paying for $448 worth of clothing.
Theft: A worker at Dot's Inc., 255 Boardman-Canfield Road, reported the theft of an undetermined amount of clothing.
Recovered property: An employee at Pep Boys Automotive Super Center, 215 Boardman-Poland Road, recovered a stolen 1988 Olds Delta 88.
Theft: An employee at Youngstown Sports Grille, 277 Boardman-Canfield Road, discovered someone removed a bar stool and concealed it in a truck.
Arrests: Officers arrested a 19-year-old Youngstown man on charges of possession of drugs and deception to obtain a dangerous drug, both felonies; a Boardman woman, 22, on a disorderly-conduct charge; a Hanoverton man and a Salem man, both 18, as well as a Canfield man, 21, all on theft charges; a 20-year-old Campbell man on one count of failure to comply with the orders of a police officer and possession of drugs; and a Struthers man, 40 on a charge of obstructing official business.
May 13
Theft: A man discovered two checks stolen from his vehicle while he was at Miller Rod & amp; Gun, 5140 Youngstown-Poland Road.
Criminal damaging: A woman came out of Goldstein's Furniture, 300 Boardman-Poland Road, and noticed a rear window on her vehicle had been damaged.
Theft: A customer left Lowe's and failed to pay for two air compressors.
Vehicle theft: A man went to a carport near his residence in the 400 block of Mathews Road and discovered his motorcycle missing.
Theft: A man told police $60 worth of quarters, four football trading cards and a deck of cards were stolen from his car while he was at Camelot Lanes, 628 Boardman-Canfield Road.
Theft/criminal damaging: A man in the 900 block of Cook Avenue discovered his car had been broken into. Stolen were various pieces of stereo equipment.
Criminal damaging: A woman returned to her vehicle at Nemenz IGA Super Center, 223 Boardman-Canfield Road, and noticed four pry marks on its driver's-side door molding.
Theft: An employee at Sparkle Market, 6315 Market St., reported numerous packages of meat products had been stolen.
Criminal damaging: A man in the 4600 block of South Avenue noticed damage to his car's rear trunk lid.
Arrests: Arrested were a 35-year-old Boardman man wanted on a warrant from Youngstown charging him with falsification; a 24-year-old New Waterford woman and a 42-year-old Boardman man. Each was charged with theft.
May 14
Theft/forgery: A Carter Circle woman told police that, after a check was stolen from her, someone wrote it for $100, forged her signature and cashed it without permission.
Assault: A man called police after being assaulted at his residence in the 1800 block of Lealand Avenue.
Auto theft: A man reported his 2000 Ford Taurus stolen while he was at Steak 'n' Shake, 6786 Applewood Drive.
Theft: A woman in the 800 block of Cook Avenue discovered her purse as well as $70 stolen from her vehicle.
Theft: A woman returned to her car parked at Wal-Mart and found out someone had removed three Social Security cards, a $100 gift card and $60 in cash.
Theft: A worker at Barnes & amp; Noble Booksellers, 381 Boardman-Poland Road, reported the theft of a $70 children's book set.
Truck theft: A man reported his 2002 Ford F-250 pickup truck missing from Cinemark Movies 8, 469 Boardman-Poland Road.
Arrest: Police arrested a 61-year-old Boardman man on a domestic-violence count.
May 15
Criminal damaging: Two people in the 4400 block of South Avenue reported damage to a mailbox and a plastic lawn chair, respectively.
Vandalism: A woman discovered a soda can dispenser and its bill exchanger were damaged near Dollar General, 859 E. Midlothian Blvd.
Arrest: After responding to several alarms at CVS Pharmacy, 6121 South Ave., police arrested a 25-year-old Poland man on charges of breaking and entering, drug abuse and receiving stolen property, all felonies. Officers said they saw someone fleeing into a wooded area and, after apprehending the suspect, added that they found pill bottles in his pocket, and that he admitted breaking into the business.
