Damage: Vandalism was reported at a residence under construction in the 50 block of Cherry Hill Court in the Mill Creek Homes development. Letters were scratched into cement in the garage and drywall adhesive was thrown on a window.
May 12
Possession of deadly weapon: A 21-year-old Austintown man was arrested after dropping his sister off at school at the Mahoning County Career and Technical Center, 7300 N. Palmyra Road. Police found the man had a 3-inch stainless steel knife in his pocket and a 12-gauge shotgun in his trunk.

Drug offense: A Niles woman was arrested in the 1600 block of Fountain Square Apartments on a charge of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia
Theft from auto: A lock was broken and a compact disc player stolen from a vehicle in the 4000 block of Nantucket Drive.
Breaking and entering: There was no forced entry during a break-in at the Ice House, 5516 W. Webb Road, but cash was stolen.
Theft by deception: A man stole $10,000 from Ruby Tuesday's, 5555 Mahoning Ave.
Theft from auto: A door lock was pulled and an AM-FM compact disc player was stolen from a car in the 4000 block of Nantucket Drive.
Theft: A gasoline drive-off was reported at Pilot Oil, 1150 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Breaking and entering: A weed whacker and saw from a shed were stolen from a residence in the 3000 block of Aryshire Boulevard.

Theft: 582 gallons of diesel fuel was reported stolen at Country Fair, 1143 N. Niles-Canfield Rd.
Theft: $13 in gasoline was stolen from Sheetz Gas Station, 5499 Mahoning Ave.
Auto theft: A dark green 1997 Chevrolet Monte Carlo was stolen from a residence in the 2000 block of South Raccoon Road.

Attempted auto theft: A vehicle's steering column was broken in the 4000 block of Kirk Road.
Theft: A 3-foot-by-4-foot sign on a frame was stolen from the 300 block of Meridian Road.
Drug offense: An Austintown man was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia in the 3000 block of South Meridian Road.
Personal injury: A 10-year-old boy was bitten by a dog in the 5000 block of Tulane Avenue.
Theft: A television was stolen from an apartment in the 30 block of North Yorkshire Boulevard.

Theft: Eight gallons of gasoline valued at $16.01 were stolen from Sheetz gas station, 5499 Mahoning Ave.
Theft from auto: A stereo face plate was stolen from the 60 block of North Raccoon Road.
Criminal damaging: A vehicle was damaged with a key in the 500 block of Westchester Drive.
Theft from auto: A briefcase was taken from a vehicle in the 30 block of Idlewood Road.
Theft: Patrons walked out without paying a $72.63 bill at The Upstairs Lounge, 45001/2 Mahoning Ave.
