Reid close to signingon for 'Wild On!' on E!
MIAMI -- Frequent South Beach reveler Tara Reid is finally embracing her reputation as one of Hollywood's hardest-partying hotties, reports the New York Post. Redd is close to signing a deal to become the next host of the E! channel's popular "Wild On!" travel show, following the bikini-clad likes of Cindy Taylor, Brooke Burke and Jules Asner. The plan is for her to party her way through Europe for the summer, trailed by an E! camera crew.
Robin Williams files suitover Mrs. Doubtfire dupe
MINNEAPOLIS -- It takes more than hairy arms and a good Mrs. Doubtfire impersonation to be Robin Williams. The 52-year-old comedian-actor claims a look-alike named Michael Clayton duped a reporter and a charity organizer into thinking he really was Williams. Williams' federal lawsuit claims the look-alike's agent, Michael Pool, called reporters in September to set up an airport interview. A Star Tribune gossip columnist interviewed the man and wrote that he "knows how to settle down and blend in; when there's no movie, he changes the hair color. If that guy wasn't blond, he'd look just like Robin Williams, some travelers seemed to be thinking." The lawsuit, which includes allegations of false advertising, also says Clayton duped a woman who was organizing a charity for a fire department in Missouri. The lawsuit said the organizer questioned whether she was really dealing with Williams until Pool put a man on the phone who launched into a Mrs. Doubtfire impersonation. Clayton and Pool didn't immediately return phone messages left by The Associated Press. The lawsuit asks for an unspecified amount of money and that Clayton impersonate Williams only if he tells people that he isn't the actor.

Notable death
NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Jimmy Martin, a pioneering bluegrass singer and guitarist who performed with the Blue Grass Boys and many other musicians, died Saturday, more than a year after he was diagnosed with bladder cancer, his son said. He was 77. After performing as lead vocalist for the Blue Grass Boys periodically through 1955, Martin formed his own band, the Sunny Mountain Boys, and recorded with Decca records for 18 years. Martin recorded several bluegrass standards, including "Rock Hearts," "Sophronie," "Hold Watcha Got," "Widow Maker" and "The Sunny Side of the Mountain." Martin was inducted into the International Bluegrass Music Association's Hall of Honor in 1995. His life was also the subject of an independent documentary film, "King of Bluegrass: The Life and Times of Jimmy Martin," which was released in 2003. In the late 1950s and 1960s, Martin performed on both the "Louisiana Hayride" and "WWVA Wheeling Jamboree," which were well-known country music shows. He also made guest appearances on Nashville's Grand Ole Opry, but never became a regular cast member, which was his childhood dream.
