MASONS Scottish Rite officers installed at temple

YOUNGSTOWN -- New officers of the Masonic Scottish Rite Bodies of the Valley of Youngstown were installed May 7 during a ceremony at the Masonic Temple, 223 Wick Ave.
Thomas A. Kidd, past master of Western Star Lodge 21 in Boardman, was installed Thrice Potent Master of Hiram Lodge of Perfection.
Richard H. Palm, 33rd degree, past master of Silver Trowel Lodge 776 in Warren, was installed Sovereign Prince of Youngstown Council Princes of Jerusalem.
Mark E. Munroe, member of Argus Lodge 545 in Canfield, was installed Most Wise Master of Youngstown Chapter of Rose Croix.
Steve J. Schlosser Jr., past master of Wick Lodge 481 in Youngstown, was installed Commander in Chief of Mahoning Consistory.
Other officers installed were:
UHiram Lodge of Perfections: George A. Vestal III, deputy master; Robert A. Davison, senior warden; Dale E. Hawkins, junior warden; Alan R. Burton, orator; Gary P. Ligotti, master of ceremonies; and Thomas G. Jacobs, captain of the guard.
UYoungstown Council Princes of Jerusalem; Jerome J. Lyda, high priest; Perry L. Billman, senior warden; John J. Vargo, junior warden; Ronald E. Gordon, master of ceremonies; and Allen G. Bohr Sr., master of entrances.
UYoungstown Chapter of Rose Croix: Christopher I. Kelson, senior warden; Timothy Johnson, junior warden; Salvadore A. Canale, orator; John Molnar, master of ceremonies; and Robert E. McBride II, captain of the guard.
UMahoning Consistory: Richard J. Brady, 1st lieutenant commander; James S. Young, 2nd lieutenant commander; James C. Kowacich Jr., orator; Thomas R. Couche Jr., chancellor; William G. Setree, master captain of the guard; George A. Vestal III, standard bearer; and Alan R. Burton, color bearer.
Officers of the coordinate bodies are: Earl H. Stahl, MSA, treasurer; Howard C. Bodine Jr., 33rd degree, executive secretary; and Vernon W. Souders, MSA, tiler and sentinel.
