CANFIELD
April 23
Theft from Auto: A Youngstown man who said his Cadillac was parked and waiting for servicing at Courtney Harvey Cars, 650 W. Main St., reported his car was broken into. Stolen were a stereo, TV equipment, radio, four chrome center caps, a JVC stereo, two MA woofers, a carpeted speaker, amps and a crossover. The loss totaled more than $1,600.
April 27
Fled: A 24-year-old Midland, Pa., woman and a 29-year-old Aliquippa, Pa., man were arrested after reportedly fleeing the scene of an accident on foot after the blue Ford truck the woman was driving drove into a house in the 400 block of Broad Street. Police had to pursue the vehicle's two occupants after they fled on foot and were found by thermal imaging equipment by the fire department in the woods on state Route 446. The woman was cited on a charge of leaving the scene of an accident and the male with obstructing official business.
April 30
Marijuana: Police arrested a Woodbridge, Va., man at South Broad Street and Fairground Boulevard on charges of possessing drug paraphernalia and drug abuse after finding a blue pipe containing suspected marijuana.
May 2
Criminal trespass: Two 29-year-old Aliquippa, Pa., men and a 24-year-old Midland, Pa., woman were all charged with criminal trespassing after they reportedly attempted to retrieve items from a blue Ford stored at Wertz Mobil, 10 E. Main St.They claimed it was released to the second man by court order the previous Friday, but they could not produce the order. A suspected marijuana cigar was found in the vehicle, which belonged to the first man, who was charged with drug abuse of marijuana.
May 6
Criminal trespass: Police arrested a 23-year-old Austintown man after a woman from the 200 block of Moreland Drive reported he was on her property after he had been warned to stay off. The male claimed the woman's son, a friend of his, said he could be on the property. The friend was arrested and removed from the property.
May 7
Marijuana, alcohol: A 27-year-old Alliance man was arrested on charges of drug abuse, obtaining, possessing, using and concealing at the BP station, 599 E. Main St., after police found a cigarette box containing suspected marijuana and a blue plastic nickel bag.

May 2:
Theft: A purse and cell phone were taken from Comprehensive Logistics, 365 Victoria Rd.
Robbery: A man had his wallet taken at the BP gas station, 890 N. Canfield-Niles Rd.
Breaking and entering: An electrical item was taken during a break-in the Old Century 21 Paint,168 S. Meridian Road.
Theft from auto: Tools were taken from a vehicle in the 40 block of S. Edgehill Avenue.
Theft: Money was taken from a Coca Cola Co. vending machine in the 4000 block of Mahoning Ave.
Theft: A dealer plate was stolen from a vehicle at Blue Ribbon Cleaners, 4004 Mahoning Ave.
Burglary: Thieves gained entry through an unlocked door at a residence in the 6000 block of Lake Drive.
Burglary: A burglary was reported at the Wilshire Apartments, 3820 Mahoning Ave.
May 3
Breaking and entering: The UAW Legal Services, 102 Westchester Drive, was broken into.
Theft from auto: Engine parts were taken from a vehicle at Wal-Mart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: Fuel was taken from Sheetz Gas Station, 5499 Mahoning Ave.
Criminal damaging: Vehicle windows were damaged at American Garage Door, 3755 Mahoning Ave.
Tampering with coin machine: Washer and dryer coin boxes were tampered with in the Central Parkway Apartments, 4608 Rhode Island Drive.
May 4
Theft: ROC Night Firming Cream was stolen from Rite-Aid, 5498 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: Fuel was taken from Sheetz gas station.
Burglary: There was no forced entry but an amplifier and compact disc radio were stolen from Wilshire Apartments.
Criminal damaging: Tires were cut on a vehicle in the 30 block of S. Meridian
May 5
Forgery: A check for $100 was stolen from an apartment in the residential 100 block of Aldrich Drive.
Bad Check: A resident in the 6000 block of Fairview Road reported a bad check for $1,000 was written against a closed account.
Theft from auto: A 6-inch grinder was stolen from a vehicle in the 50 block of S. Meridian Road.
Burglary: Coins were taken from the 100 block of Westchester Drive.
May 6
Criminal damaging: A vehicle was damaged in the Austintown Plaza, 600 Mahoning Ave.
Criminal damaging: A vehicle was damaged in the 1000 block of Paisley Street.
Theft: Fuel was taken from Sheetz Gas Station.
Criminal trespassing: A woman was arrested on charges of criminal trespassing and possession of drug paraphernalia at the TA Travel Center, 5400 Seventy-Six Drive.
Theft: $15 in gasoline was stolen from the BP gas station, 5502 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: A check was reportedly stolen from a victim.
Theft: 16.34 gallons of gasoline was stolen at McQuaid's, 702 N. Meridian Road.
Criminal Damaging: A vehicle was damaged in the residential 4000 block of Fitzgerald Avenue.
Criminal damaging: A rear window was broken in the residential 1800 block of Paisley Street.
Theft: A hose reel and a hose were stolen from a residence in the 1000 block of Yolanda Place.

Burglary: A screen was cut on a north bedroom window in the residential 5000 block of Radcliffe Avenue.

Vehicle pursuit: Cocaine, marijuana, a police scanner and a handcuff key were found in a vehicle on Mahoning Avenue after a pursuit. Charges are pending.
