Boardman schools name new principals

BOARDMAN -- The school board has named two people to fill vacant principal posts.
At a special board meeting Monday, the board appointed Joseph Goske, the assistant principal at Glenwood Middle School, to be principal at Stadium Drive Elementary School.
Principal Michael Notar is leaving the district at the end of the school year to become school superintendent in Brookfield.
Board members also appointed Al Cervello, a principal at the Crestview School system in Columbiana County, the new principal of West Boulevard Elementary.
He replaced Donald Robinson who is transferring next school year to Robinwood Lane Elementary. That school's principal, Jane Howells, is retiring at year's end.
Both Goske and Cervello will earn $57,325 next year plus benefits, said Superintendent Frank Lazzeri.
