XWARREN -- Theresa Vennetti and John Carr, both of 86 Beechwood Drive, Boardman, were married April 16 during a 4:30 p.m. ceremony at the home of the bride's sister, Gwen Vennetti, in Warren.
The ceremony was held on the birthday of the bride's father, the late William Vennetti.
The bride's godchild, the Rev. Christopher Drombetta, presided at the wedding, and a reception followed at Alberini's Wine Cellar Room in Niles.
The bride is also the daughter of Carmel Vennetti, 1813 Ethel St., Niles. The groom is a son of the late Margaret and John Carr. They honeymooned in Niagara Falls, Canada, and reside in Boardman.
The bride wore an ivory tea-length dress with a lace-trimmed jacket.
Barbara Vennetti of Chardon, her sister-in-law, served as the matron of honor, and her brother, Bill Vennetti, also of Chardon, was the best man.
The bride is a medical assistant with Forum Health in Boardman for Dr. Anita Hackstedde.
The groom is a graduate of Youngstown State University with a degree in business administration. He is a dispatch supervisor with Great Lakes Cartage in Youngstown.
