Shuluga jubilee marked with vow renewal, reception

XCAMPBELL -- Joseph and Stella Shuluga, 770 Whipple Ave., celebrated 50 years of marriage by renewing their vows April 23 at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, where they are members. An evening reception followed at St. Michael Hall in Campbell.
The event was hosted by the couple's children, Joseph and Leida Shuluga of Lowellville, Bernadette and Don Ritenour of Campbell, Gregory and Susan Shuluga of Poland, and Ellie Heckert of Boardman and her fianc & eacute;, Fred Klein. The couple's eight grandchildren also attended.
The former Stella Rotz and Mr. Shuluga were married April 23, 1955, at the Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church in Lowellville.
Mrs. Shuluga is a homemaker, and Mr. Shuluga is retired from Lyden Co., where he worked in maintenance service. He is a veteran of the U.S. Army. Both are members of the Campbell Seniors Citizens, and Mrs. Shuluga is also involved in a bowling league and poker club.
