Event to raise funds for Abigail's Home

CHAMPION -- The second annual Champion Ohio Bicycle Route Adventure will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 18 as a fund-raiser for Abigail's Home.
The home is a new shelter for women and children that will be opening on Tod Avenue, at the former St. Joseph Hospital building, in Warren. Last year the children and youth of Champion Presbyterian Church raised $1,000 for Warren Family Mission and hope to exceed that amount this year.
Participants may walk, run, skate, hike or run along the Western Reserve Greenway trail, which extends from Champion to Orwell. Concessions will be available at the state Route 305 parking lot, the starting point for the event.
Registration is $10 per person -- a maximum of $30 per family -- and each participant will receive a shirt. Send check to Champion Presbyterian Church (COBRA in comments).
