Miss Downey is fianc & eacute;e of Mark R. Detec

XCAMPBELL -- Robert and Betty Detec, 111 Gertrude Ave., are announcing the engagement of their son, Mark R. Detec, to Jennifer Deane Downey, both of 324 Glen Club Drive, DeBary, Fla.
The bride-elect is a daughter of Jackie and Connie Downey, Velma, Okla.
The couple will exchange vows during a 10 a.m. ceremony May 21 at the Harry P. Leu Gardens in Orlando, Fla. A reception will be held afterward in the Orchid Room at the Historical Museum and Plantation, also in Orlando. Invitations will be issued.
Miss Downey is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma in Norman, where she earned a bachelor's degree in computers and marketing. She is employed at Regus Business Centre in Orlando as an assistant general manager.
Mr. Detec holds a bachelor's degree in marketing from the University of Toledo and also graduated from Airman Flight School in Norman. He is a flight instructor at Phoenix East Academy in Daytona Beach, Fla.
