MINERAL RIDGE -- Winning pitcher Kaili Gehring (7-4) doubled twice, tossed a one-hitter, struck out nine batters and walked one for the Rams (10-9, 5-4 Inter-County League).
Also with two hits were Melanie Sparks, Katie Garland, Chelsea Fridley, Heather Buckner and Emily Sheller. Sparks and Sheller tripled while Fridley, Buckner and Heather Reinhart doubled.
For the Bluejays (6-11, 3-7), Erica Wilmogh singled in the fifth inning.
Niles 3, Struthers 1
STRUTHERS -- Ashley Byrom pitched the win and Rachel Mishko had a pair of hits as Niles toppled Struthers.
Kelsy Mikesell also doubled for the Red Dragons. Michelle Zanni suffered the loss, allowing just seven hits for Struthers.
